Agility can build confidence in your pet and also be an excellent conditioning outlet. You and your pet must be reasonably fit. There is room in our program for teams that are just out for a little outdoor activity, as well as those wanting to be on the next World Cup team!

In January 2013 Maureen was honored by the Blueridge Agility Club. The " Maureen Robinson Award of Excellence" will be an annual award, winner to have $200 given to his or her charity of choice.
Margaret will offer an intro to agility class for dogs who have completed a basic obedience course. Next session begins 5:30 pm, April 1, 2014. Class will run on the following 5 Tuesdays. Next session to start May 20, then July 8, Sept. 2, with the last session for 2014 offered Oct. 21. Take a private, one on one lesson, or put a small group together to train with Maureen. Maureen
Group agility sessions are $120 for your first 6 week session, then fee drops to $100 for returning students. Private lessons are available year round. $50 per hour, for one or two people. $75 per hour for three or four people. $100 an hour for 5 or more dogs.
A jumpers session, taught by Maureen, will be offered in June 2014. This class open to good dogs knowing what front and rear crosses are all about. Class to focus on choosing the right path for you and your dog. Class to meet at 8 PM on Thursdays : June 5, 12, 19, 26. This class session will also meet for two Monday nights, June 16, & 23. A July remedial contact class will be taught by Maureen on Wed. July 2,9,16, 23 with two Monday classes on July 14 and 21. Polish up your contact method, change your method, reinforce the method that is working for you! Both of Maureen's sessions are open only to dogs that have actually competed.
Maureen uses the DWTC agility list to inform students of class dates, times, and any last minute changes. It is entirely up to you to make special arrangements with your instructor if you do not join the list (link at bottom of this page).
