Subscribe to DWTC, an email group set up just for Dog Works class information, schedules, and local Western Carolina dog information and events.

THIS YAHOO GROUP is the method that Dog Works keeps intouch with students. You should join to be notified of any class changes as well as to gain access to class handouts. This is a low volumn list, used by instructors to notify students of class changes, should the need arise to cancel a class. YOU MUST MAKE SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR TO BE NOTIFIED IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS LIST

Maureen recommends:

  • "Cluture Clash"
Great book, learn to see things as your dog does.
  • "In Focus" and "Ruff Love" "
Ruff Love is required reading for any pet owner having problems with aggression. In Focus is required reading for the Advanced Training Skills Class.
  • Place to get identification collars Maureen uses Dangling tags bother your pets sensative ears. We like collars that have your cell phone number sewn into the collar. That way, if you loose your pet, either at home or while traveling, you could be called by a person finding your pet.
  • Whole Dog Journal dog links The Whole Dog Journal is the best monthly dog magazine your money can buy. It covers health, training, and K9 products. A must have for all pet owners! This is a link to their "LINK" page. This covers all the places you would ever want to go on the World Wide Doggie Web!
